At the negative-pressure test stand, façade assemblies can be tested cyclically and dynamically at the Institute of Building Physics to assess their real wind suction resistance. The load on the test specimen area up to 5 m² is applied in fractions of a second using negative pressures of up to 20 kPa, accurately reflecting real conditions.
